Owner
Nigel has been involved in the roofing industry since 1981. He has carried out roofing in Tauranga, Auckland, Brisbane, Samoa, Marlborough and throughout the South Island. Nigel is a Licensed Building Practitioner (LPB) for roofing. While specialising in steel roofing and spouting he is also certified to install rubber membrane roofing and is the authorized installer for RIGS in the South Island. He has trained several staff in the art of roofing, with some of them going on to run successful businesses of their own.
While Nigel does roof new dwellings, he particularly enjoys the challenge of tricky reroof’s and working through issues that others wouldn’t entertain.
Years of Experience and a Strong Reputation
Having operated in Blenheim for 21 years with a small yet efficient team, he services the South Island and is now based in North Canterbury. Nigel has built up a solid reputation for his craftmanship with several local builders, architects and suppliers. They know that Nigel is busy all year round, but are prepared to wait to get the job done at his high standard. He’s often called upon to sort issues that others have not been able to solve.
Nigel and his team are safety conscious and treat the customers property with care and respect whether it is working around the elderly, the public or even sleeping babies.
Nigel prides himself in giving the customers the opportunity of dealing with the owner-operator from initial contact until the job’s completion. Customers really appreciate this. Most of his work is through customer referrals and he has done roofing for several generations of the same family.
Nigel, a perfectionist, sets himself very high standards within his craft and a job ‘well done’ gives him great satisfaction.
